Even though waiting is getting annoying, its an opportunity to save
up more for down payment . You always have to take advantage of a situation
if possible.

Thanks, Paul!

My poor car must be so bored just sitting there for days on end. I just KNOW it's itching to be driven!

Maybe it'll pick up a country twang while hanging out in Nashville.

I tried that (throw in the retro cover) for them smacking my car into a wall.  No luck.  I got a tote bag, pen and mug.  lol

Actually it's $ 849.- in the official Fiat-mopar pricelist. And it's for indoor use only...

That makes sense. Because that's where my car needs the most protection from the elements.

Our car, #14 has been sitting on my dealer's lot for nearly a week...sitting there ready to go.  But the dealer is not allowed to sell it to me apparently because they don't have all their paperwork in order.  It's day-by-day, but hopeful (perhaps naïvely) to get it this weekend.

hi, im waiting for number 477, ive heard from the dealer e.t.c. but only after tracking them down myself first.

I think they should toss in the retro car cover for free to show their appreciation for our continuing patience with regard to the entire project lagging behind every targeted date.  no chance to change your options as they promised, e.t.c., e.t.c., e.t.c

John, we are in the same boat.  #215 has been sitting for 8 days on the lot.  First they blamed Chrysler for not releasing the car, then they didn't have their license from the state, license came, then they blamed Chrysler again for not letting them use the Dodge building, now they're saying they don't have their paperwork and that it's "Back ordered."  I said "...scribble the word FIAT on top of a piece of paper and I'll take delivery in the wash bay for all I care."  This process really couldn't have gone worse.

I'm tired of the daily crying wolf and disappointment.  Ultra frustrated up here.

Another morning... another call to FIAT. Today they read back all my past comments to me "your car is in NJ and has been there for 3 weeks, Your dealer has his licence, etc..."  Yes, I replied, these are the things I told you guys.   I requested a call back TODAY from someone at FIAT corporate offices, not the call center. Again, I was told my issue would be "escalated" and that I would get a call back today. I was also told there are a "few" people who have not been able to locate their cars.   From the comments on this board it seems to be more then a few...  Call FIAT and complain.

Paul any info on car #15?  Last week I was told it was sitting somewhere in Michigan awaiting delivery to a dealer in Rochester, NY.  Yesterday I was advised it will be at the Rochester dealer mid to late next week.  As I live in Buffalo and my local dealer is not approved for Prima delieveies??? I've opted for "home delivery".   Fiat should hire UPS to track their vehicles.

Mine is supposedly heading to Mesquite, TX (outside Dallas) right now...then it will head southwest to Austin...

Not sure why it is going to Dallas...or why it is then going to Austin (Dallas has open Fiat dealers and could sell me my Prima as easily as Austin)...

Oh well

PaulL, do you see 137 heading to Mesquite or Austin? Of just "In Transit."

THANKS...you are the bomb...

:)

Re: Where is my Prima

I agree. Call every day! Make your dissatisfaction known. They will "elevate" your call - something that has no effect on your issue. They will say they will call you back - good luck!  Keep calling and ask where is my car?  When will it be delivered?  If they can not answer these questions, what is the use of the help line?

No chance.
Lose the sense of entitlement--they owe you no recompense.
If you don't like the way you're being treated (and I don't blame you), go buy a Mini.
