Re: Fiat 500 USA Forum

Did you talk to Fiat about this?

Arrigo called me on Saturday and said they and Fiat did something with my fee instead of shipping the car across the State. The price was "adjusted". I could still have had it shipped to Sarasota and it was up to me.

I was working with Ana Barreto the customer relations director.

Do you mind reminded me of the FIAT phone number to call to cancel and get my refund?

The 2 that sold so far on eBay went for over 26K
That's $5-6K profit
You should have done the same thing"

Only an idiot would pay above sticker for the Prima. There are more than 1/2 dozen for sale at MSRP from MVLA on cars.com
Call each Fiat dealer and see if they have one on the lot. Chances are they do. Lots of people are bailing!

I was asked if I new what the fee was as if I was some moron.
They then made it sound as if they would be happy to cancel the deal so I obliged and hung up and called Fiat and cancelled.
I had already made arrangements with Tim At Sunset Fiat in Sarasota and my word is worth more than a car.

Going to be one more available in Atlanta. Cancelled mine a few minutes ago.  Still getting a 500, just not a Prima.   So, anyone looking for a Bianco with roof, it will be going to Buford, GA I believe.

Thanks for the number Olga.

FWIW the dealer could not transfer my $500 PE deposit to use to purchae my alternative Sport. So I have to recover it myself. Info in case others are doing the same thing.

Here is the most current info that shows up in the system:

#137 current location: destination ramp, Santa Rosa, NM, destintanion: Melloy Dodge (as of 2/28)
#499 current location: on truck, destination: Westbury Jeep Chrysler Dodge (as of 3/21)
#164 current location: destination ramp, Lordstown, OH, destination: Jeff D'ambrosio Fiat of (as of 3/10)
#140 current location: On Railcar, Connellsville, PA, destination: Jessup, MD (railcar ETA 3/24)

Also, last week there was an email to Chrysler dealers stating that there was a shortage of delivery trucks for chrsyler jeep and dodge products, so that may be causing a delay of the cars getting to their final destinations. This is probably affecting dealers of all makes.

thanks PaulL...

Melloy Dodge is in Albuquerque, so it does look like that is where it will someday end up :)

This weekend would be great...and seriously I don't care if it is next weekend...no huge rush...always just wanted to know where i would get mine...and Albuquerque is easily best for me.

Thanks, Paul! 499 on truck...it is only 1.5 hours from NJ to Westbury...I would think the car should be there this week...yes?

Update. I called my dealer. He says Thursday the car will be at the dealer.
So, like, that's 100% sure, RIGHT?

PaulL:

Thanks for helping us, all of us, with updates on our Primas.

Now I have zero power around here, so everyone please choose to ignore this if you want...

When a person asks PaulL for some help and he gives it, could we please not slam Fiat in the very next post? PaulL does work for Fiat and it seems a bit rude.

Now I'm not saying you can't vent about Fiat...Lord knows I have...but we have plenty of threads for that :)

And I'm not picking on any one users...I've seen it happen a couple of times here.
