Jeff did call last night with the same information. I have no reason to doubt him at all, I just hope he's getting accurate information from Fiat. I am really anxious to see it. What was your color?

Our chrysler dealer site is down right now so I can't check any of the vehicles just yet. Hopefully in a couple hours I'll get back to you with some more info.
Thanks, Paul, and thanks Shaun and 454 for checking around for me!

Oh, and by the way. I know some of us are disappointed in the way Fiat has handled this. I found Chris's blog entry from July 2010. Except for the false info that we could change our configuration, see how honest and accurate Fiat was (I added the highlights):

Q: When will my Fiat 500 Prima Edizione be available for pick-up?

A: The delivery is expected to be made no later than March 13, 2011. However, delays in manufacturing and shipment are possible due to quality control and other reasons. If delivery is not possible, you will be notified of the new date at which time you will have the option to accept the new date or decline for a full refund per the terms of your retail sales agreement.

Q: Where will my Fiat 500 Prima Edizione be available for pick-up?

A: Vehicle availability is limited to select authorized dealers in select states only. Fiat cannot guarantee that an authorized dealer will be located in a convenient location to you or even your state.

I requested in another thread but I can't find which one so I will ask again. I will keep looking for the other thread.

Can you get a location for 289 please? I should buy my next one from you in Chicago. I Picked up my Volvo wagon in Skokie (wasn't available here in South Florida) and filled it with fresh produce (also not available) for the trip back to Florida.

#499 is still on it's way to Doremus, NJ with an ETA of 3/10
#137 is sitting in Santa Rosa, NM
#289 is sitting in Jacksonville, FL

The thing is that status for most of these have not been updated since 2/28, #499 is showing as of 2/15 (must be a slooooow train from Ohio)

Thanks Paul,

Considering the fact that my dealer's totally clueless at this point I think I still have a while to wait, but this makes it a bit more real that the day is at least slowly approaching.  (On the plus side I won't be needing winter tires until next year, can't wait to try the 500 in the snow!)

Cheers,

I'm so tempted to drive out to Belvidere and snag a couple pictures myself! To bad the weather is really crappy in Chicago now.

Hey Shaun, I called Reedman Toll in PA today an found out that my car and 10 other Primas are going to be delivered to the dealership on Thursday.  Have you have you heard when your car is coming in?  I'm sure it'll be very soon.

Not sure what Fiat / Chrysler will offer, but I already have my pre-approved blank check sitting on my desk from my credit union (Pen Fed).  I encourage anyone interested to check it out... 2.99% for 60 months.  I've used them many times now... you get pre-approved for a specific amount and they send you a blank check to use to buy any car you want.  Very easy and anyone can join (by simply joining a military families support organization for $20!)  www.penfed.org
