Hey Paul,
I might as well get in on the act, at some point can you check on #29? Thanks again for contributing and helping everyone here. You are one of the stars in the Fiat world!

Well fiat of Austin had their salesman, Matt, fly out on Friday...he inspected and cleaned up the cars for us and had all the paperwork ready. I was at work, but left early...got to the dealership ( a Suzuki dealership, but the fiat of Albuquerque will be built next door) and was driving my car home in 45 minutes...very quick and easy and I appreciate fiat having their person fly out and I really appreciate having the car brought just 2.5 miles from my house:). I'm curious, did you get it from Fiat of Austin or Albuquerque? Does Albuquerque have their license?

Had to be sold by fiat of Austin...which is why they flew out an agent...no fiat of Albuquerque yet.

I also picked up my car Friday in Albuquerque. Got to meet in person the famous, or is that infamous, Gavin! Like him, I appreciate Chrysler and Fiat of Austin for sending Matt out to deliver our cars. I visited with Pat Melloy the dealer principal for Fiat of Albuquerque, and what a great guy! It will be several months before their building will be ready, but in the end I think we will have a real quality Fiat dealership here in New Mexico.
So far I haven`t discovered any problems with my car. Hard to tell true gas mileage until you average several tanks together...but on the 220 mile trip home I got 43.7 mpg! |

Hi Paul,
Would you also please check on #210? It has been within 50 miles of the dealership for 3 weeks. I hope it didn't fall off the truck... Thank you! Jon |

Hello again Paul!
Thanks for your answer! Do you have any idea why the #216 is inJacksonville, FL, destination: Arrigo Fiat Sawgrass, it shows plant release as of 3/16. What I know is that Arrigo Fiat of Sawgrass already delivered 4 or 5 PE. But I don't know why mine is in Jacksonville,Fl. The seller told me that it should be arrives in next few days, but it is like a mistery.... Please let me know my friend and sorry to bother you. My best, Gianni.

Hi: I have watched for weeks now as many of you have struggled thru with delivery. The majority with happy endings.
My problem is a little different. I am 265 miles away from the CLOSEST Fiat dealer; we have only one in Oregon. I can`t even get a return phone call nor response from them to my emails. I want to buy a car! I was way too late to pre-order as you all did, but want a Mocha Latte Pop anyway with automatic. When I read that dealers you see have 20,30,40 cars for sale I am envious. It ain`t much fun in the country where I am. This forum has been wonderful and a great big THANK YOU to Chris and all who participate. Dennis |
Don't be too upset. More dealers will open and 265 miles is not to far to go for a FIAT. I've brought home 3 from the Netherlands so 300 miles is a cake walk!

Don't they have better prices (and a greater variety} in Belgium?

Fiat of Hartford has got some Prima's in ( whites and greys , no reds) all spoken for , showroom is close to finished ( looks great) .....but license not ready...

Hi Dennis, you're welcome! We do have a great group that hangs around here. I see Ron Tonkin is opening May 15, however it's crazy not to get a response. I don't know which number you called but maybe one of these would help. Ask for the general manager, maybe for another store other than Fiat, and tell them you can't get a call back. This is the Studio number (888) 309-7209 or here is a generic # for Ron Tonkin Dealerships: (800) 45-DRIVE Good luck!

Thank you very much. I will try both tomorrow.
I read about their opening in early may, but called after a Facebook entry saying they had driven one at Beaverton Fiat. Again, many thanks Dennis |

Just cancelled PE 160.
I have not been impressed with the Morrow [south Atlanta] dealer. Got "the call" while in a meeting last week; asked rep to send e/m and I'd get back. Well, since then, no e/m, no call, nada. They have my contact info. Yeah, I could have called back, but I'm not that much in lust. I'll not give up on FIAT, but will ride Guzzis and romp in the MINI for awhile and see how things go. Best wishes to all of you. I look forward to seeing lots of those grand little cars around. Ciao ... Bill

Chris: Hooray! I actually got a return call from Ryan Hulbert at Fiat in Beaverton Oregon. Your number information made it happen.
He was very helpful, and very interested in getting me what I want. They won`t have inventory for 3-4 weeks, but that is ok. So away we go! Thanks again. Dennis |

I heard yours came in today; I'm eager to see pics.
It may be a couple of weeks more for me, but, like I said, it'll make a great birthday present. |

Congratulations Sam! Your buddy's car should be at the dealer.

My car is at Larchmont, Alfredo told me they are waiting for there license to come through. I called to check on my car , after I saw my brothers car appear at Fiat of Hartford Studio. For some reason my car went 80 miles away to New york while his car went 3 miles away to Hartford.
