No worries. #315 is in Mira Loma, CA.

Also....wait for it....it looks like it has been released by the plant!

Now it's just waiting to get picked up by the trucking company and delivered to dealer!

Awesome!  Thank you!  I hope they go get it soon.  This has been a very long process.  It's kinda getting old at this point.

I sold my car a couple weeks ago so I didn't have to do the trade in dance with anyone.  Got my cashiers check in hand.  No car :(

I finally spoke to my Fiat rep at Motor Village. The cars at Mira Loma are getting inspected by customs. They should be out soon.

Btw, Paul, thanks again for your help!

332 is sitting in Rolla, CO
217 is still on its way to Rolla, CO as of 3/2 wth an ETA of 3/1 which makes no sense.

HI Paul, is there a way you could check up on #366 again?  I haven't heard anything from my Carlsbad dealer.  They said that they were waiting for Fiat.  And then I called Fiat and they said wait for your dealer.  So just caught in the middle, but don't know where the car is right now.  So if you could check it up again? Hopefully out of Mira Loma, CA and on a truck down to Carlsbad.

Joel,

Your car is still sitting in Mira Loma, CA, but it has been marked for plant release. It's now waiting for transportation to the dealer.

Hi Chris,
Your right about the "non-negotiable" doc fee. However, on any car I purchased that the purchase order specified a "doc fee", I negotiated the reduction of the car price equal or close to the doc fee cost. I already told Fiat of Mall of GA that I would be negotiating the doc fee in this manner. I implied it as a condition for taking delivery of my car with them. Otherwise, I would rather pay it to a dealer who has their Studio up and running, and can make me feel like I'm getting "something" for mu $600.

Hope we get together soon with our Cinquecentos :-))

Paul YOU ROCK!, thanks again you really deserve a medal of honor from the group!  You put my restless mind at ease.  I just got an email from the dealer today, they give the ETA as early as late next week.  Does that sound about right?  I get to talk to the finance guy on Monday.  Supposedly I will be getting the best rates out there.  And then hopefully late next week, another person and myself will be the first ones in the San Diego area to get their PE's with media attention and everything!  Not so much excited on that as paying and finally driving home in a brand new car.  Thanks again Paul!

Joel #366 Grigio, sunroof, and hopefully some optional heated seats.

Sometime next week sounds about right, it all depends on the trucking company at this point. Don't forget to post pictures of your new car as soon as you get it!

PaulL: How in the world are you able to find/track these cars?
I am 173, got an email from a Sacramento/Fremont dealer employee asking which location was best, but no date.
Corp called 14Feb asking the same question.
So how are you able to find the PE's in-flight?

I've heard that before. In some places the doc fee is completely non-negotiable but you can negotiate the price of the car itself to negate the doc fee. Very strange, to say the least.

Mike,
Every dealer has the ability to track the vehicles on their dealer site, provided they have the last 8 of the VIN of the vehicle they are trying to track. With the prima's it's CT500xxx, the last three are your Prima #. BTW, your vehicle is marked as being released by the plant in Benicia, CA. It's now waiting to get picked up for delivery to the dealer.

Paul,
Please check if #18 has left Mira Loma.  My dealer(s) think that it is still in Mira Loma, but I don't get a sense that they know how to check, as you do.

Thanks again!
