I am Prima Edizione #132. I took delivery on March 30 from Fiat of Somerville http://www.fiatusaofsomerville.com/.  Scott Avellino was the salesman.  It is the 1st in NJ.

The car is all that was promised.  I am an Alfisti and just sold my 1993 164S (with over 200,000 miles). Will buy a Guiletta in 2015 also.  Only drive stick shifts and the car is very nimble with it.

Only 2 minor changes are recommended:
1) driver footrest to left of clutch pedal should be covered with metal or vinyl. The carpet that covers it will wear and is part of the main carpet - thus cannot easily be replaced.
2) front passenger seat should have up/down adjustment just like the driver seat.

Otherwise a perfect car. You will sell a lot.

 The 2nd picture is at my Alfa Romeo shop (Eurotec Inc., East Hanover, NJ). They have an original Fiat 500 in their collection. The 3rd picture has my salesman in it.

I am a long time Fiat owner of 41.5 years and over that time have owned several models including 2 124 Spyders, 128SL, Brava, and a 1988 Bertone X1/9 which I currently still own.  I picked up my 2012 Rosso Fiat 500 Prima Edizione #379 on March 21 at Fiat of Concord.  I am also a member of Fiat America Fiat owners club and have been a member since the club was formed in 1969 right after receiving delivery of my first Fiat.  Fiat's reentry into the United States car market was a really big deal for me as I have been waiting for this day for the past 27 years.  I really did not want Fiat to come back here if they did not do it right as I did not want to see them fail.  My impression of what I have seen is nothing less than impressive and it appears that they are doing things in a first class way.  The Fiat 500 also is very impressive as it drives like a typical Fiat as well as being that of high quality from what I can see at this point in time.  Congratulations to Fiat for a job well done.  Fiat America welcomes all the new Fiat 500 owners in SF Bay Area to join our club and be part of a great group of Fiat enthusiasts that have a great time together enjoying our cars www.fiatamerica.com.

Of course that happened in Boston. He probably gave away his next move by using his turn signal and one of our guys nailed him

LOL, actually I know this car.  It was purchased at Kelly Fiat by an Italian BMW mechanic.  He was parking his 500 outside his place at night and the spot that was free was in between two cars, so if course he thinks someone will open their door and ding his new rude so he decides to move it.  He drove around the block 3 times before finding a spot (parallel) and left it there "safe".  During the night a drunk driver out of control jumped the curb and flew into the poor little Fiat.:)
Luckily for the owner he was able to get another Prima, a white one.

Good to see another Alfisti buy a FIAT whilst we wait for the return of Alfas. Mine were 1975 & 1979 GTVs, 1987 Milano Mille Miglia & 1993 164S.  But I did own a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T with 440 cu.in. motor and a 1970 Dodge Coronet 440 6-Pak SuperBee.
