Thats weird if their going to the same place. I guess #164 will have another destination once it reaches OH. I have about a 75% faith in the accuracy of the VIN tracking system.

Wow. Thanks. The Twin Oaks rail yard is very close to my house. This is a major distribution point for this area outside Philadelphia.
When Fiat called my son about delivery for car 164, they told him they figured it would be delivered to Bob and Chuck Eddy in Ohio. He told them that was wrong and to deliver it the same as my car. I hope that's not all screwed up now. Ergh!

That's funny Thad, I live in Greensburg near Pittsburgh, and said Downingtown was close to me.  I told her it's near Philly and I'm near Pitts, mines going to Bob & Chucks.

ha, is there still the Catholic school across the street? Hate to be a cliche, and I was 12, but in Geography (yes we had geography class back then) I would spend half the class looking out the window at the girls in uniforms playing 4 square.

gah, now i sound creepy... :)   hey, i was a kid.

i use to ditch class and walk along the rail tracks to a small park maybe a half mile from school...and i remember a swimming pool and roller rink...but that wasn't near the school. we were poor...lived in some apartments behind the Sears.

anyways...back to Fiat 500 topics :)

Yes the Catholic school is still there and the park you mentioned is called Saint Clair Park, they have an ampitheature now and have concerts (free) in the summertime.

Much to my chagrin, I just cancelled my reservation for #143.  So, if anyone wants it, it is heading to Team Fiat Mall of Georgia by 3/12.  Red with Sunroof.

I can't talk myself into buying another car that I don't need, but I wish Fiat well and maybe I'll think about it when the Abarth shows up on these shores.

I just received the following email from Chriswell Fiat. This is everything I know about the email. I hope to be there in the X1/9.

Todd,

Thank you for having me this Sunday.

It was great meeting with all of you again.

Quick update and please let the FIAT Car Club folks know this.

Corporate just came and talked to us here in Gaithersburg, and they told us that
Shaun Folkert's Prima Edizione will now be delivered on Thursday around noon.

Laura Soave, (Head of Fiat North America) will be flying in to deliver the first Prima Edizione
here in the U.S. to Mr. Folkerts. That's the stuff I couldn't quite tell you guys yesterday
as it wasn't finalized. But now I am allowed to tell you - they wanted us to wait until
they talked to Shaun himself.

So yes, Laura Soave will be here Thursday (!), and please let those in the club
know the changes.

Hopefully the rest of Corporate and some of the loyal FIAT freaks who have been
passionate about the brand for so many will be here this Thursday as we make history.

You are all cordially invited, and please do bring your cars if you like, and most importantly
... bring your love for FIAT too.
