USB Always Starts Playing Regardless of What Was Playing Last

Michael
Anyone else noticed this? Regardless of what input type you have playing, whenever you start your car back up, it goes back to USB? Does the same thing for me after getting a Bluetooth call.

Yes, mine can do that too.  There's a voice command setting for the media player for autoplay, but mine can still do it when I've confirmed autoplay is off.  Mine does it maybe half the time.  Check to make sure autoplay is off and see if that makes a difference.

No, I haven't noticed, but will check this afternoon.

I have noticed that if I am playing music through USB, that when I shut the car off, it switches to whatever was the last non-USB source I had selected, and I get blasted out by the volume difference.  Note, that I have selected a setting that allows the radio to continue to play for 20 minutes after the key is shut off, but apparently it won't play the USB source in that mode.

How many others have a big volume difference between USB and other music sources?  USB comes in at about 1/2 the volume of the other sources, which is really annoying.  I've tried adjusting the Aux Audio Offset (Menu button), but that has no effect.  I am guessing that the Aux Audio Offset only affects whatever is plugged into the Aux Audio port, which is directly under the USB port in the glovebox.

My volume levels are pretty well matched among all sources.

Mine are as well, however, there needs to be a way to change a setting that when you turn off the car and have the radio still on for 20 mins that the USB source still plays.

Yes, my usb plays unexpectedly. AutoPlay is off but it will play almost 3 minutes after I start the car.

Alvon, there is an offset level adjustment for the external media. I forget without seeing it how to get to it in the menus.

I've tried that adjustment, Thad.  It has no effect on devices plugged into the USB port, at least not on mine, anyways.  I've tried 5 different devices in my USB port, and they are all quiet.

I believe that the Aux Audio offset must only have effect on devices plugged into the Aux Audio plug, and not the USB plug.

I'll ask the dealer to reprogram the radio to fix it, or replace the radio if it can't be fixed.
