Marrone gear shift boot

Question for those who have purchased their 500s with marrone/nero interior. Have ordered the sport trim (manual gearbox) with verde oliva exterior and this interior… can’t wait!

Still, the build-your-own section of fiatusa.com shows a marrone gear shift boot along with front/rear seats, door arm rests, and steering wheel rim. Have seen photos of marrone shift boots for 500s in the U.K., but apparently cars being delivered in the U.S. have nero boots. And although certainly not a deal breaker, the marrone boot is a nice accent and consistent with Fiat’s attention to detail.

Has anyone noticed this or have information? Would like to order one, so will have to check back with the studio (Criswell) because they had limited information at the time and marrone shift boots don’t seem to be available yet online.

Ohhh, I hope not.  I ordered the exact combination you did and I love the Marrone shift boot that shows online.  

If it comes in Nero, I think I'll be asking FIAT to get me a Marrone one...after all, they do show it that way on their website.

My car should be in production now.  Hoping they get a supply of beautiful brown shift boots prior to shipment.

Just saw a Mocha Latte Sport with Marrone on the Criswell website.  Has a brown steering wheel and black shift boot.  It looks unbalanced to me.  The FIAT website will still allow you to build with the brown boot.    Guess my car may be full of surprises when I get it.  Also hoping the Verde Olivo is a bit more green than some photos show it to be.

Got a reply from Criswell indicating uncertainly as to Fiat's decision/rationale for not ensuring marrone shift boots in the U.S., but apparently they are available from Mopar.

Also got a reply from 500madness indicating their forthcoming partnership with a company in Italy would increase/expand their parts and accessories inventory, possibly including marrone shift boots.

So the good news is, although the "correct" boots are not being delivered (for whatever reason), we do have options.

I have same problem. I ordered a sport rosso brillante with brown interior and it came with black gear shift boot instead of brown. Dealer says they are all coming that way but I would like to replace. but how to find exact same color? Let me know if you find a solution.
