Got a call from Criswell.

I missed the call, but the dealer left a very professional message, followed by this direct and to the point email:


Hello Sam,
 
Just to follow up on the message I left earlier, we do have a FIAT 500 Sport to test drive if you are in town.  I would also like to talk with you on the current status of the 500s.

When I called back, Scott was not available, but the person I spoke to seemed polite and informed.
He congratulated me on having a Prima reservation.

So far so good.

So far so good.

We're getting there.  Can this mean our wait is coming to an end?  I have 3 vacation days I need to burn this month, maybe I can do that by picking up my car (and cleaning my garage out).

Heh, lucky you!  Not only do you have a dealer, your dealer has a car!

I haven't had the time to drive by possible locations for the dealership—the Chrysler dealership owned by the guy that's starting the Fiat dealership is across the river and all that, but I'm assuming it's going to be one of those that's sort of closer to August than January.
