A very interesting article, however, not totally accurate.
For starters, the US spec car uses the new Panda platform, currently only is offered with the 1.4L 4 cylinder motor and the base Pop does NOT get Blue and Me standard, it's an option however. ESC is a requirement on all 2012 models and since this IS a 2012 model, it has ESC/ABS and Traction control standard on all three trim levels.
The Blue and Me is only standard on the Sport and Lounge but you DO get power windows, locks, keyless entry, A/C and the 5spd manual standard and you do get a 6 speaker CD/MP3 CD player to go with, the Bose system is optional as well, but standard on the other 2 trim levels.
Fifth Gear has a great video clip on the TwinAir and another fact not quite correct, this new 2 pot motor is a parallel twin, in that both cylinders move in unison to help mitigate vibrations but still utilizes balance shafts to further dampen vibrations.
