Pittsburgh Steelers 2026 NFL Draft grades:

[Locklear]

The Pittsburgh Steelers picked Indiana limited close Riley Nowakowski within the 5th spherical of the 2026 NFL Draft. Our personnel weighs inside with their questions upon the Bickley: Below's your TE3Facebook for Mike McCarthy. Nowakowski in all probability would've been a 'my man' inside of this draft system if I experienced been in a position towards keep track of him further more. He's an very higheffort operate blocker with sturdy mobility who ought to be ready in direction of discover a position upon offense directly absent. Nowakowski is a little bit undersized for a restricted finish and his tests is only Okay, however as a fullback I including the pick out. We can quibble a little bit with getting a returner and fullback with the personnel's most recent 2 selections, yet inside of the 5th spherical by yourself can't bitch above favourable soccer avid gamers. Quality: B+Mike Nicastro: Nowakowski is a suitable alternative for Connor Heyward considering the fact that of his flexibility. He'll participate in limited stop, fullback https://www.pittsburghfansapparel.com/collections/nick-herbig-jersey, and can lead upon distinctive groups. He performed a pivotal position upon Indiana's Countrywide Championship operate the male merely feels together with a champion. While it continue to feels together with a choose centered a lot more upon require opposed in the direction of worthy of, I which includes this just one substantially improved than Wetjen. Quality: B+Alex Hanczar: Pittsburgh provides however a different massive higher education participant within the kind of 2026 Countrywide Winner Riley Nowakowski. The departures of Jonnu Smith and Connor Heyward led lots of toward imagine the Steelers would include element at the stage and listed here it is. Apart towards totally enjoying TE, Nowakowksi will heading fill the Heyward function at the Facebook stage. At 6foottwo 250 fat, I would not be shocked in direction of look at the past Hoosier lineup below middle for the tush force' for the black and gold. Quality: BJoey Bray: Welcome again Connor Heyward. Within all seriousness, Riley Nowakowski is an appealing select for the Steelers. They expected in direction of just take a further limited conclude, however Nowakowski is even further of a fullback design and style. He performed a protecting against job for Indiana ultimate 12 months once he did line up a limited close Shaun Suisham Jersey, whilst he's 32 catches remaining period had been even more than he experienced inside his last 4 collegiate seasons blended. Nowakowski isn't specifically quick or dynamic and doesn't comprise the dimension toward be a genuine acquiring possibility. He is a Excellent soccer participant and it helps make really feel that Mike McCarthy would choose a fullback, nonetheless getting a return male and fullback backtoback within just the mid rounds is an curious seek the services of of materials. Quality: CRyan Parish: As severe as I was upon getting a 4th rounder upon a kick returneronly participant https://www.pittsburghfansapparel.com/collections/jack-driscoll-jersey, I'm in the direction of the moon for this alternative. I featured Nowakowski inside of my Limited Finish draft gems record as a fantastic in shape for the John KuhnHunter Luepke Facebook function inside Mike McCarthy's offense. Nowakowski is shorter for a restricted close nevertheless suitable for a blocker for a electricity operate plan. He's additionally gotta good palms and tacklebreaking electric power for below routes that really should generate Aaron Rodgers delighted. This was a meat and potatoes pick out, and still an additional indication that the Steelers are veering into a gappower jogging plan. Phenomenal in good shape. Quality: A++Jarrett Bailey: The Steelers have been constantly heading in the direction of get a restricted conclusion, currently being that they unveiled Jonnu Smith and didn't convey back again Connor Heyward. Nowakowski will engage in that Heyward position. Distinctive groups and No. 3 limited endfullback. Not excellent. Not abysmal. Great.
