Are you for real? European designs don't sell here? Heard of the Mini Cooper?
BTW, the Dodge Challenger is a 4,000 lb bloated pig that can only move because it has a gigantic V8 under the hood.

That's because the Challenger is based on a full-size E-segment architecture.

Simply not in the same class as C-segment Neon/Caliber or A-segment Fiat 500.

Yep, I've got one of those gigantic Hemi's under my CSRT8 hood.  4,400 lb. pig hitting 60mph in under 5 seconds and right back to a quick stop on massive Brembo's. Banker's hot rod.

EXACTLY!! The civic is just another cheap japanese car, mainly for women.
All the civics in this neighborhood are owned by girls.  No real man would be caught dead in one.

I normally post on the calibersrt4 forum, but they too seem to live under bridges.  I generally try to find useful advice.  Here is a place where there is some misunderstanding also, oh well.

I like little cars that go like stink!  The original mini cooper had a cast iron austin engine and could outrun a v8 corvette for a few blocks.

I bought a neon r/t and my wife thought I was nuts, until she learned what hp, suspension and good brakes could do for you in a panic, oh yes and 32 mpg.

I then bought a neon srt4 2005 (they came with stage 1).  Oh my, made my r/t feel like it wasn't moving.

I then bought a caliber srt4 2009.  It was loaded with all the goodies, but because it has a bigger turbo, it takes a moment to wind up and you get a bit of lag.  I then purchased the stage 1 (computer) now you are talking!  It resets the max torque from 265 to 300 and ups the 1st gear torque to 245(I think).  The horsepower will vary with the add ons, anywhere from 290 to about 330.

I don't race it, but the passing is right now, and with the 13 inch brakes from the police chargers it stops instantly.  Mpg at sea level is 24 to 27, at high altitude it is about 31 to 32.

It is not as pretty as the nsrt4 and it is no where near a easy to drive.  It is an suv wannabe and I can pack a bunch of stuff in it.  So, in essence it is a box on wheels, it serves my needs.  Oh yes, my wife made me buy it because it has a kicker boom box!

Oh and last but not least, I am looking forward to hearing all about the Fiat 500 abarth!
