I was also curious about the two-position headlamp switch. According to the iPhone app, the "on" position activates the headlights when the car is on and the parking lights when the car is off.
It baffled me at first, but it's actually a pretty smart feature... can you believe my sister drove around with her parking lights on at night for months because she thought the first detente on her Civic Hybrid's headlamp switch was for the low beams? I know!
