Interesting review, some info isn't quite right but it's not too far off the mark.
That said, I understand their skepticism as they are voicing these concerns on behalf of the typical buyer but then again, I have often wondered if the media isn't perpetrating some of this so called, nervousness about small cars to the potential buyers and the buyer perhaps unconsciously believes it to be true to some extent, that said, when you compare the car's size to what we typically drive, it SEEMS tiny and add to that, a perception that size matters in an accident, I don't think that's as much an issue with modern cars as in the past, but even there, what we thought to be true is proving to be not so as far as injuries occurred in a collision, like no jostling AT ALL which is what has been recently discovered.
Knowing CR's less than perfect track record, it'll be interesting to see what they say, but right here on this blog, we've read of an article where Laura was quoted as saying these cars are ahead of expectations so who knows and I predict we'll have a much better idea of how this goes within the year.
As for the 500, I think I read that it was meant to come here at some point anyway as Fiat had been planning on coming stateside for a while, but the Chrysler bankruptcy gave them that opportunity.
