1) That's not a picture. It's a computer rendering.

2) The Prima Edizione is available in Grigio.

The fact that its a computer rendering is irrelevant.

All the Prima Ediziones will  have the same interior. It doesn't

matter what color you ordered.

It's illogical that P E 's would have different interiors .
It's logical that they would all be the same.

This my last post :)

It's "illogical" that every Fiat 500 would have a different interior.  Oh, but they do!  The interior on every single Fiat 500 sold in the European market (and they've sold well over half a million of them) has a body-color-matching dash.

Go troll somewhere else.

Actually my point was that the color interior is not the same for each PE. If Grigio, the dash will be grigio, if Rosso, Rosso. My guess (I admit that's all it is) is that the rendering repsresents a grigio car, with the corresponding grigio dash.

That's my point exactly.  A point our esteemed compatriot seems to have ignored.

Yes:

1) It would be odd for Fiat to NOT have the iconic color keyed dash;
2) We should not take as gospel anything Fiat says in a communication, either in writing or by phone. They contradict themselves repeatedly;
3) Based on the limited evidence available such as the CGI interior and the manual Chris just posted, and given 1 & 2 above, my best guess is the dash will be body colored.

Thanks Chris!

I opened up the link and read the first few pages rather quickly this morning and will resume once home from work. Looks interesting, even if it's for the Euro model!

Let us not forget the CSI pixelation analysis.

Okay, two pieces of information that I was a bit hesitant to post, since they aren't exactly helpful.

I talked to a pretty reliable source at FIAT, who told me that the dash he saw in a pre-production Prima Edizione did match the outside body color. However, when I asked him what the graphite instrument panel (i/p) bezel meant, I was told that i/p bezel is in fact, the name they use for the usually-body-color piece of plastic across the dash. He said that maybe it was the material that was graphite (doubt it), or maybe they had changed it from when he saw it,  but he wasn't sure.

I mentioned that I thought it was weird that the one he saw wouldn't have a graphite i/p bezel, since we were told that the graphite bezel was a part of the PE package from the start, and he agreed.

So there you have it. More not-exactly-helpful information to think about while we wait.

Also, Doodles, why is it so obvious that the prima (first edition cars) would digress so much from the iconic matching dash that is so unique to the 500?

Here is more utterly unhelpful data:

That was very helpful.

Now I'm SURE I don't know.

Why can't Fiat give us a real picture of these already built cars? WTF!
