On behalf of asg casting, inc. & FIAT, I would like to thank you for taking part in our casting process.  The production company, Motion Theory, shot several stories this past weekend in Los Angeles and the plan is to move on to several other locations across the country to capture the amazing stories of FIAT enthusiasts.  Our clients are still reviewing our interviews and will decide where they would like to shoot their next set of stories shortly.  Although the casting process is done at this point, you may be contacted by the production team at Motion Theory or the advertising agency, Impatto Custom Marketing, within the next few weeks.
We hope that you have enjoyed sharing your stories as much as we have all enjoyed hearing them.  If you have any additional questions regarding the FIAT films, please contact: Lorraine Kraus - lorraineckraus@yahoo.com, Shannon Stone - shannon.stone@impatto.com, and/or Jason Hayes - jason.hayes@impatto.com.

Never gotten a job rejection letter? They read pretty much the same-''...however we will keep your resume on file in case something that matches your background comes up yada yada."

That doesn't sound too rejecting to me. Actually, it sounds like they are keeping you up-to-date on the process. Rather novel concept, no? Fiat could learn a thing or two from them!

Right, that's a bit different, though.  Fiat will be filming at a few locations around the country; the only given was LA, because it's easy for the clearly-LA-based agency.  From there, they'll probably balance the cost of getting to the places with the quality of nearby candidates.

That's vague at best. It sounds like just an update.

Drat! Once again, all the good shows are filmed in Cali!

Well maybe this is just my withering lack of self-confidence at work again. Must explain why I like little cars. Or does that explain why my other car is 440HP? Whatever.

I did it.  They filmed my family.  It was a lot of fun.  I'm curious to see what they do with the footage.  We are the fat family so I couldn't believe they wanted us.  lol

They are looking for "average Americans" so over-weight is the right demographic. Plus it would imply that there is plenty of room in the little 500.

That's kinda what we thought.  "Hey maybe they want us cuz those tubs can fit in it, people won't get hooked on the too small of a car thing"

Hi unclelaverne, welcome to the forum!

I'm sure they looked for what you said, how you said it and your ease on the camera.  You should congratulate yourself because you did a good job.

Re: 15 Minutes of Fame

Maureen and I were part of the filming on Sunday, Feb 27.  It certainly was a lot of fun!  We drove down there in our '70 124 spider, which seemed to impress them.  They took a good bit of time to film us with the old Fiat, and interviewed us with the angle of tying the old to the new.  We arrived at the studio at 8:00 AM, and left about 5:00 PM.  Though it was a long day, it didn't seem that long, as we were occupied with activities most of the time.  There were about 10 Prima buyers there along with us as part of the filming exercises for the day.  It was great spending time with other Prima buyers, and I hope we'll have a chance to do more of that in the future.  I mentioned to the group about an upcoming Fiat gathering and drive that we have planned for the end of March, and though some seemed interested, it was just a mild interest.

The Fiat marketing reps couldn't tell us any more information about the Prima cars that we already knew, and were mainly focused on their filming project.  It was very professionally done.  The Studio that they hired flew to the factory in Mexico for additional filming earlier this week, then they'll be heading to the East coast next (NY and Penn, they said) to film other Prima buyers, and then on to other parts of the country to put a complete package together.

Where will we see the film??  They didn't know for sure, but said it would likely be the Fiat web sites, You Tube, Facebook, and other social media (not television).

Did you wear your hair hat?

I bought 2 after you were here last year because I couldn't make up my mind on the color. It depends on the color of the Fiat I'm driving.

Hi Alvon, welcome to the forum!  Thanks for your post, sounded like a fun time. Definitely a unique experience.  Did they give any time-lines when we might see this project?

They weren't sure.  The film project is evolving as it goes.  I think they would like to have the film ready very soon after the PE cars are delivered, but that's just a guess.
